More neutrals with khaki the elegant grey dress and luxurious soft black hobo but a small nod towards glamour for Wed-night drinks with a fine silver gemstone cuff and large coral polyp studs, heavily embellished with London blue topazes and amethysts.

It's still early in the week so it's best to keep a fashion-forward but low-profile silhouette with a twist on the black shift and beige signature twist hobo. The only splash of colour comes with the 18KT rose and yellow gold vermeil drops.

Monday: An Outfit A Day

Chase away Monday blues with splashes of red (from the rubies in the earrings and the hot-red python skin hobo) and still keep somber with the re-interpreted black dress to get your conservative boss' approval.

The Cate Dress

I posted this sketch awhile back and thought I should post the final dress after it was made! This dress, called Cate, is available in Black, Beige and Grey. What I love about it is that essentially, it's still a shift dress to wear on a Mondays for meetings, and fun for a slow Thursday as well! This twist on the classic work dress is what Capri is all about.

It's been really hectic with the launch of new collections for both capri and elly this month. I'm always glad when stock's delivered and re-delivered too especially within a week or two, which is a healthy sign that the collection is selling well! At the back of a launch is the finalisation of designs for the new collection - its always a never-ending cycle of worrying. Well, this collection is very different from our previous collections - it includes chiffon fabrics in our dresses and cream colours (as far as you get from our usual blacks)!
